Ogundana Hails Governor Oyebanji on Award ... Saying a Well Deserved Recognition
The immediate past Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun local government area in Ekiti State, Hon. (Chief)Babatola Ogundana, has congratulated the Governor of the state, His Excellency Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji ( BAO) over his decoration as the Independent Newspaper’s Governor of the Year 2023 in communities development based on his six point agenda (Good governance, Youth development and job creation, Human capital development, Agriculture and rural development, Infrastructure and wealth creation, Craft, culture and tourism development.
In his congratulatory messages through a statement signed by the former council boss and made available to Society Premium .
According to Hon. Ogundana ,the award is well deserved honour ,considering the various achievements of Governor Oyebanji in the last one and half years, especially in the areas of workers welfare, community development, youth and women empowerment, infrastructure upgrade as well as his inclusive government, which has put the state on an irreversible path of peace, progress and prosperity amongst comity of states.
Ogundana posits that, personally and on behalf of people of his local government area celebrates His Excellency, Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, as he received the prestigious ‘2023 Governor of the Year on Communities’ Development award by the Independent Newspapers Group.
He reiterates that the recognition is a testament to Governor Oyebanji’s exceptional leadership and his unique style of participatory governance. His commitment to community development and the numerous achievements recorded under his administration are truly commendable and worth celebrating.
The former LG boss notes that Governor Oyebanji's administration is a great blessing to Ekiti state, fountain of knowledge and that posterity shall continually be appreciative to all developmental strides both human, structurally, economically amongst all.
Ogundana solicits support from all stakeholders irrespective of political leaning at giving total support to BAO's administration at making Ekitiland an enviable state amongst other states of the federation.
