G-18 commiserate on demise of Gov. Akeredolu

The  entire executive and members of G-18, a social/political group were grip and in sad mood, following the passage of that pragmatic and courageous leader, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON.

According to a statement signed by Hon. Akin Akinbobola and Barr. David Ebriku Coordinator and Secretary of the group respectively said the news of demise of Governor Akeredolu came like devastating storming blow, difficult to withstand as they commiserate.

According to the group, the vision and resolve to further promote the development of the land and people of the Sunshine State have been deleted by the merciless hand of death on the late Governor.

Saying "Akeredolu provided leadership, not only for the South West zone, but for the entire Southern part of the country, when it become most imperative for courage to speak.

"And that as a leader he provided the needed leadership capacity for his followers to tread.

G-18 noted that Arakurin never shied away from making his position known on any matter, irrespective of whose ox is gored. This earned him respect amongst his peers.

While the  expresses her deep sympathy grief on this development to the entire Akeredolus' family, the Anglican Communion, the Nigerian Bar Association,  the good people of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole that Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu served to the best of his ability.
