BAO, Irepodun/Ifelodun LG Boss others Eulogies Onigede at 90...

The Ekiti state governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) has joined other well meaning citizens to congratulate the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru || as he celebrates his 90th birthday and 64 years on the throne as the longest reigning monarch in Nigeria.

He states that "Attaining the age of 90 and marking 64 years on the throne can only be by God’s special grace. This is why I consider it a great privilege to join royal fathers, chiefs, dignitaries, friends and family during this celebration. That as one of our respected royal fathers, HRM Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru II, marked his 90th birthday and 64th coronation anniversary today in Igede- Ekiti".

While speak during the Thanksgiving service held over the weekend at the Baptist church Igede-Ekiti.

Governor Oyebanji noted that having spent 64 years on the throne, Oba Adelusi holds the record as the longest-serving Oba in Nigeria.

The Ekiti number one citizen posits that the respected monarch exemplifies strong leadership and a deep commitment to the well-being of his community, our dear state and country. His enduring legacy of service, honour and integrity continue to inspire many, especially the younger generation.

Long Live Kabiyesi, and may your reign continue to bring prosperity to the people of Igede Ekiti State and to Ekiti State at large. Governor Oyebanji noted.

Also in his appreciation for the peaceful reign and birthday celebration of the monarch, chairman Irepodun/Ifelodun local government area, Igede-Ekiti, Chief Babatola Ogundana (Jugunu) give all glory and appreciation to Almighty God for sparing the life of Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru, Onigede of Igede-Ekiti for ninety (90) years ago and for allowing him to be on the throne of his forefathers for sixty-four (64) years.

Ogundana describes Onigede of Igede-Ekiti as a symbol of peace, unity and a complete father to all.

While praying for more grace in life as he seats on the throne and also for more meaningful development in the town,local government and state at large.

Other dignitaries at the occasion includes Chief Segun Oni, former Governor of Ekiti state, Hon. Austin Ibikunle, chairman planning committee for the programme, Chief Bayo Fadairo, Olota of Igede-Ekiti and SAto the president on security amongst other guests and dignitaries.
