Democracy Day: Irepodun/Ifelodun LG Boss Beacons Hope on Nigerians

Nigerians would soon begin to reap the gains of the pledged ‘renewed hope’, which they voted for earlier in the year, Chairman Irepodun/Ifelodun local government area of Ekiti state, Chief Babatola Ogundana has assured Nigerians.
The Irepodun/Ifelodun local government boss in his goodwill message on Democracy Day, further assured the people of the council area,state and Nigeria that the pains which trail the removal of fuel subsidy would soon disappear.
The local government boss urges the citizenry to exercise patient, with the unwavering hope that the decisions taken thus far by the APC-led Federal Government are for a health economy in the best interest of the citizenry.
He posits further that most decisions that would ultimately be beneficial usually present unpleasant and unfriendly dispositions, adding that “such tough phases never endure, but the sweet gains do.”
Ogundana says “I have no doubt that the economy will soon improve to the admiration and benefits of all Nigerians. We only need to be patient.”
While he celebrates with Nigerians and all lovers of democratic government, urging them to sustain the system.
He recalled some notable Nigerians offered so much, including their lives, for the enthroned democracy, saying the sacrifices should be cherished at all times. The best way to do this, he contended, is to keep immortalising their names.
While appreciating the efforts of the present administration in Ekiti state under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) at ensuring that the people of the state enjoy gains and benefits of democracy in the state through various positive policies and programmes of the administration.
