Worker's Day: Irepodun/Ifelodun LG Boss Felicitates Workers

The Executive Chairman Irepodun/ Ifelodun local government area of Ekiti state, Chief Babatola Ogundana, has felicitated workers in the area and state on the celebration of Year 2023 Workers’ Day, just as he charged them to remain proactive and supportive to the agenda and policies of the present administration in the State.

In a statement issued  by the Chairman, emphasized that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) has fulfilled his promise not to owe workers salaries in the State, by paying them as and when due and has been able to transform the State better than he met it since he came on board.

Ogundana urged workers in the local government area to reciprocate the actions of the Governor by providing needed support that would enable this administration carry out meaningful projects and leave it better than he met it. The local government boss also called on workers not to relent in their efforts to deliver quality and efficient services that will yield outstanding and highly resourceful public service.

Saying "BAO has devotedly considered workers’ welfare as priority, so to whom much is being given, much is expected…”, he noted.

Speaking further, he charged workers in the local government area to serve as agents of change in their various beats, adding that the task of building a better Ekiti State is a collective one and must be taken with all levels of diligence.

Whilst wishing workers more blissful and stress-free celebration, Ogundana assured all residents of the Ifelodun/Irepodun local government area and the state that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will not relent at carrying out more life benefiting projects and programmes that will make Ekiti State exemplary and outstanding among its peers in the federation.
