ST. MICHAEL CATH. HIGH SCH. TURNS OUT 442 GRADUATES
As St. Micheal's Catholic High School,Akure turns out 442 graduates during this year valedictory service, the students have been charged to be of good behaviors.
Speaking during a colourful ceremony organised for 2016/2017 set, the principal of the school, Pastor Adeniyi Oluyimide has task the graduating students to know for sure that they are the future leaders of the country.
Adeniyi notes that, the students must strive hard to get to the pinnacle of their chosen career in life.
" To my graduating students, I want you to know for sure that you are the future leaders of Nigeria; hence you must strive hard to get to the pinacle of whichever career path you have chosen in life".
The principal notes that , hard work pays and that there is no Short cut to careers, hence all hand must be on deck at achieving excellence in life.
While charging the graduating students and the rest to shun bad habits ,anti-social behaviours and other vices that can be hinderances to their success in life.
Adding that, the six (6) years of their career in the school have prepared them for future challenges of life, both in academic and moral, which they can easily leverage on to attain any heights in life.
The occasion which was witnessed by the Chairman of the school PTA, Pastor Akinrinsoye Clement , other Exco members of the association, Parents, Old students of the school and some important dignitaries.
In his remarks, the PTA Chairman thanked the Principal and the teachers for organizing such an event.
Akinrinsoye said " Today's event is another milestone in the history of this school as 442 students are passing out. The untiring efforts of the school Principal, Pastor Oluyimide Adeniyi and other teachers are appreciated. I will continue to pray for you. You made us proud and you are our pride "
The school cultural troupe was not left out as they gave a good performances.
The event also witnessed the presentation of some school materials and text books by 1991 set of the school and also the donation of 100 plastic chairs by the outgoing students.
