Ekiti Speaker's Death: Ifelodun/Irepodun LG Boss Commiserates

 

The Ifelodun/Irepodun local government Chairman and the good people of the area have Commiserate with the government and people of Ekiti-State over the death of the Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Funminiyi Afuye.

In a statement personally signed by the Chairman of the council, Hon. Babatola Ogundana described the death of the speaker as very painful and unfortunate and a shock to the entire state.

Ogundana  described the late Speaker as an embodiment of courage, excellence and a highly commited man to public service, maintained that Rt.Hon. Funminiyi Afuye will be greatly missed by all.

 The Speaker who passed away on Wednesday evening during a brief illness at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti at the age of 66 was one of the great pillars of Ekiti development.

While  commiserating with the families, relatives, political associates and Ekiti state people in general on the great loss.
