Baptist Community Recognises Irepodun/Ifelodun LG Boss Parents and Others



The Baptist community of Nigeria, Ekiti state has  recognised distinguished individuals that have contributed their quotas in the development of the church and the communities.

The occasion was during the official dedication of M'GEE camp chapel and fund raising for the completion of M'GEE camp projects at Igede-Ekiti, Ekiti state.

In his message, Reverend Oke Olumuyiwa charges Nigerians to continue at helping one another, giving substantially towards  progress and development of church projects as way out of various challenges facing the country

He notes that giving a helping hands to individuals in time of need, goes a long way to relief such from stress or looking other way round that may not be of Almighty God's way.

Rev. Olumuyiwa charges Nigerians to embrace the ways of Almighty God as the only solution to any challenges they might be facing. Noting that He never fails all that obey His words.


Highlights of the occasion was presentation of awards and fund raising for the development of the church.

Amongst  those who received post humours awards were the late parents of the present Chairman of Ifelodun/Irepodun local government area of Ekiti state,Deacon and Deaconess Peter Babafemi Ogundana and others, Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, Oba James A. Aladesuru || (JP) also received distinguished award amongst other personalities that were recognised at the colourful ceremony.

Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Babatola Ogundana (Jugunu) , Chairman Ifelodun/Irepodun local government who received the award onbehalf of his parents promises to continue and be dedicated towards any developmental projects in the house of God.

The local government boss, publicly declared that nothing difficult for Almighty God to do, saying prayers is the master key to all problem.

" I am a living witness to what the Almighty God is doing on this mountain and camp, most times I would personally come here to this altar pray and commune with my creator quietly. And such times I get positive answers to my prayers"

Ogundana implores Nigerians to make prayers and Almighty God their priority, noting that all challenges shall be  overcome with name of Almighty God.
