Irepodun/Ifelodun LG Boss Appreciates, Congratulates Ekiti on Poll... Commends Stakeholders

 

The Executive Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun local government area of Ekiti state,Hon. Babatola Ogundana (Jugunu) has appreciate the esteemed people of the local government area and Ekiti state in general for a peaceful conduct of the just concluded poll.

He notes that the peaceful and crisis-free in the conduct of the  poll shows the love, dedication and commitment of the citizenry and all Stakeholders to a true democracy.

Ogundana informed that the choice of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO)  and winner of the governorship election is a prove and testimony that he is well accepted, intellectually sound and capable to hold the position as number citizen of the state.

While he also commends the incumbent Governor of the state, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi as a true leader of focus with great mind and well achieved as number one citizen of the state.

In his words " I am happy with the entire people of my local government, Ekiti state and by extension Nigeria,it shows democracy has finally come to stay as we can now use our votes to pick our leaders without any hinderances or crisis.

The local government Boss appreciates the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for being an unbiased umpire and advised that there can still be more room for improvement in their performances.

He also extends gratification to the various security agents for their performances during the election at keeping peace and security at all places and strategic locations across the state.
