NIGERIANS TASK ON PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE... As recognitions given to distinguished administrators and institutions

 

Nigerians have again been reminded of the need for all citizenry to allow peace reign supreme in all sectors of humanity across the nation as panacea to development.

Speaking at a briefing on the activities lined-up to mark this year edition of anniversary of the Society  Glitz / Premium newspaper in Lagos , Mustapha Sodiq, Executive Secretary of the board of the organization said Nigeria has witnessed a lot of development and challenges over the years.

The media boss noted that especially the recent COVID-19  pandemic and also the #ENDSARS protest across the country ,which almost shook the economy, security system and apparatus.

He however noted that the importance of the security agencies can not be undermined or rated, as all the security apparatus in the country are effective and up to the standard of providing the adequate and necessary security needed.

While  he informed that the choice of recognising some officials of security operatives across the country, especially the Northwest part of the country this year, was borne out of the recognition of their commitment and dodgedness to duty at all times.

Amongst such names and institutions to be honoured and recognised are Sokoto State University,  Commissioner of Police Sokoto State, CP Ibrahim Sanni Ka'Oje and the Command, Commandant Sokoto State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Umar Musa Bala and the Command and Reverend Father Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Sokoto Catholic Diocese amongst other.












While the organisation noted that the essence of the award were informed based on numerous feats of success attained by such individual awardees at their various callings, and more so as way of encouragement and appreciation to do more for humanity.

Days for the presentation of the awards have been slated in various letters sent out, while wishing the prospectus awardees a big congratulations on behalf of the organisation.
