ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNMENT DECLARES 24HOURS CURFEW...Police calls for compliance

Following the  declaration of dusk to dawn Curfew by the Adamawa state government over the ongoing Vandalisation and looting of Government owned warehouses  by hoodlums in the state.

The Adamawa state police Command  has  advice members of the general public to respectfully comply with such order in order to prevent further breaking and looting of both government and public warehouses.

The Commissioner of police Olugbenga Adeyanju,fdc, commend the youths of Adamawa who have not allowed themselves to be misled into doing anything untoward since the endSARS protest began in some parts of the Country.

While the Command and other security agents respects the rights of the citizens equally enjoy them to forthwith avoid all forms of activities capable of threatening and undermining the security of the State

However the Command notes that will not in any way or manner allow hoodlums and misguided elements to operate unchallenged, despite security agents operates in such a way of not using force to create scenario that will lead to lost of live while preventing properties from looting by hooligans.

Adding that a task force team that comprises of all security agents will be going round to ensure compliance and equally enforce it.

The Adamawa police command therefore enjoined the citizenry to be in compliance with the directive by the state government, while parents and guardians are advice to monitor and caution their children and wards from flauting the Law.
